This Lenten journey may well be the toughest you have ever done, but if you stick to the disciplines, especially the prayer, it should also be the most spiritually fruitful and transformative Lent you have ever done.  It is a ‘Lenten Journey to New Life’ and when it ends at Easter, it is to be hoped that this ‘new life’ will continue to grow and change you and your family around you.  The Church expresses this ‘New Life in Christ’ most eloquently in her Liturgy at the Easter Vigil.  Your Sisterhood is, therefore, highly encouraged to plan on attending the Easter Vigil to mark the end of your Lenten process of renunciation, mortification and dying to self; and the beginning of a new way of living your life with and in Christ Jesus.
